Makes 12 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpeas 
  • 1 tsp white vinegar 
  • ¼ cup applesauce 
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract 
  • 2 tbsp honey, sugar or maple syrup 
  • ⅓ cup oat, blended in a processor 
  • ¼ tsp baking soda 2 tbsp chocolate chips, more if desired 

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C. Spray a small baking sheet with non-stick spray.
  2. In a food processor, combine all ingredients except chocolate chips. Mix until well blended.
  3. Remove batter from food processor and fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Spread the batter onto the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. Cool and place in serving container.
